Family sharing is built and working, but it is switched off at launch while we complete a privacy review for sharing a child’s record between adults. It will arrive in a later update - here is how it will work.

Share one care log
Everyone will see the same up-to-date record. A dose logged by the nanny at noon will be on your phone by the time you ask.
Your child’s record is nobody’s business but yours.
Mira asks you to trust it with genuinely sensitive information, so here is exactly where we stand, in plain words:
No ads, ever.
Mira has no advertising, no ad tracking, and no advertising partners. This will not change.
- Your data is never sold. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, under any definition of “sold”.
- Offline-first. The record lives on your phone and works fully without an internet connection. Cloud backup and sync exist so your record survives a lost phone, and you can turn them off.
- Encrypted in transit. Everything sent between your phone and our cloud services travels over encrypted connections.
- Attachments encrypted on your device. Photos and documents you attach are encrypted at rest on your phone, using your device’s secure hardware-backed key storage.
- Cloud data encrypted at rest by Google’s infrastructure. If you use sync, your data is stored on Google’s Firebase infrastructure, which encrypts stored data as standard practice. We do not claim more than that: Mira does not currently offer end-to-end encryption.

Nothing out there treated a family's day-to-day care with the seriousness it deserves, so Mira was built at home, for one child, first.
That origin still decides how it works. It shows no ads, because it was never built to sell your attention. It works offline, because care does not wait for good wifi. And the record belongs to your family - to share with the people you trust, and no one else.

Is Mira free?
Mira starts with a 30-day free trial of the complete app, with nothing held back. After the trial it becomes a paid subscription. There is no permanent free version, and there are no ads in either case: the subscription is how Mira is paid for, so your family’s data never has to be.
Nothing disappears right away if a trial or subscription ends: your record stays exactly as you left it, and you can export a full copy at any time. If a trial or subscription stays lapsed for more than six months, that account’s data is permanently deleted - we send reminders well before that happens. Resubscribing at any point within the six months brings everything back immediately.
Does Mira work offline?
Yes, fully. Mira is built offline-first: the record lives on your phone, and every screen works without an internet connection. A connection is only used for optional extras like cloud backup, sync between devices, and family sharing.
Can I share access with a nanny or grandparent?
Not at launch. Family sharing is built and working, but it is switched off while we complete a privacy review for sharing a child’s record between adults, and will arrive in a later update. Once it is switched on, you will invite them with a simple code and choose their role: a Parent with full access, a Caregiver who can log daily care, or a Read-only member who can see the record but not change it, and you will be able to remove anyone at any time.
Is my child’s data safe?
We treat it as the most sensitive data there is. No ads, no selling of data, encrypted connections, attachments encrypted on your device, and cloud data encrypted at rest by Google’s infrastructure. Only you and the people you personally invite can see your child’s record.

Does Mira give medical advice?
No. Mira is a record-keeping tool, not a medical device. It stores and organizes the information you enter, but it does not diagnose, interpret, or advise. Always confirm medication doses, care instructions, and any health decision with a qualified medical professional, and never rely on Mira alone in an emergency.
How do I delete my data or my account?
Any time, in the app: open Mira and go to Settings, then Profile & Account, then choose “Delete account”. You can also sign in on this website and delete your account there, or email us and we will handle it for you.
