Mira Child Care - Terms of Service

1. These terms are an agreement

Mira Child Care ("Mira," "we," "us") is operated by MIRA CARE LINK LLC, a limited liability company registered in Georgia (the country), identification number 404828228, registered address: Georgia, Tbilisi, Krtsanisi district, Shota Nishnianidze st., N7. By installing or using the Mira app, or by using this website's account features, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Mira.

2. What Mira is, and what it is not

Mira is a record-keeping and organization tool. It helps you record and organize information about a child's care: medications, appointments, symptoms, therapies, meals, and daily routines.

Mira is not a medical device, and it does not give medical advice. Nothing in the app - no reminder, summary, report, or screen - is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for the judgment of a qualified medical professional. Always confirm medication doses, care instructions, and any health decision with a qualified professional.

Never rely on Mira in an emergency. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. The information you enter is your responsibility

Everything recorded in Mira is entered by you or by people you have authorized. The accuracy, completeness, and correctness of that information - medication names and doses, allergy severities, schedules, notes, and everything else - is the responsibility of the person entering it. Mira stores and organizes what you enter; it does not verify it. Decisions made based on information recorded in Mira are made at your own risk.

4. Your account

You must be an adult to create a Mira account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, change your password and contact us at support@mirachildcare.com.

5. Family sharing

Family sharing lets a parent invite other adults into a child's record. It is optional. A child's record is visible only to the account that created it until that person chooses to invite someone. If you use family sharing, these terms apply to it:

• You choose whom to invite and which role they get: Parent (full access, can change the medical plan), Caregiver (records day-to-day care and logs the doses you scheduled, and cannot change the medical plan unless a Parent grants that separately), or Read-only (can see, changes nothing). A Parent can also limit which children a Caregiver or Read-only member sees.
• You are responsible for choosing invitees carefully. An invite code gives real access to a child's health record. Only invite someone you would hand the paper file to.
• You can remove someone at any time. Removing them stops any further access. It cannot undo what they have already seen.
• Everyone you invite needs their own Mira account and agrees to these terms and to the Privacy Policy when they create it. Before they get any access, they must also accept a short agreement written for invited members, shown in the app when they join: to use the record only to care for the child, not to copy, share or photograph it. The agreement also tells them that their actions in the app are recorded with their name where a Parent can see them. Someone who declines that agreement does not join and sees nothing.
• An emergency alert you send in the app goes only to the members of your family group. It is a message between family members. It does not contact emergency services, so call your local emergency number first whenever a child is in danger.

6. Trial and subscription

At launch Mira has no paid plans and no payment step. If paid plans are introduced, their price and terms will be published on the Pricing page before they take effect, and no existing account will be charged without being asked first.

Subscriptions are purchased, billed, and cancelled through Google Play, under Google Play's own terms. Mira never sees your payment card details. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscription settings; cancellation stops future renewals and does not delete any of your data.

Nothing is deleted the moment a trial or subscription ends. Your record stays exactly as you left it, on your device and in cloud backup if it is switched on, and it becomes fully available again when you subscribe. You can export a full copy at any time, subscribed or not.

If a trial or subscription stays lapsed for more than six months, that account's data is permanently deleted. We send reminders well before that happens: when it lapses, again around the five-month mark, and a final reminder two weeks before the deadline. Resubscribing at any point within the six months brings everything back, with nothing lost. Section 7 of our Privacy Policy says the same thing and describes deletion in full.

7. Acceptable use

Mira is licensed for personal, non-commercial use by members of a single household and the caregivers they personally authorize. Use of Mira to manage children in a commercial care setting - including but not limited to home daycares, nurseries, micro-kindergartens, nanny agencies, or any setting where care is provided for compensation - is not permitted under a personal subscription and is a material breach of these terms.

You also agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to access other people's data, no interfering with or overloading the service, no reverse engineering except where the law allows it regardless of these terms, and no using Mira for anything unlawful.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using Mira at any time, and you can delete your account and data at any time; see the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, including the acceptable-use rules in section 7. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

9. Disclaimers and limits on our liability

Mira is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost; you are encouraged to keep cloud backup and sync enabled so your record survives a lost or broken phone.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to Mira is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia (the country), and the courts of Georgia have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area, nothing here takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts.

If you are a consumer in the United States, nothing here limits any right you have under the law of your state that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change to these terms, we will show a notice in the app and update the date at the top of this page before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Mira after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
